Card Samples for January 21st Card Class

WOW it's 2012! I'm REALLY looking forward to a schedule again to my card classes. I started making cards for my next class at Stamp Fever on January 21st and here is what I came up with. I still have 1 more to make which I'll finish tonight. I will also be teaching a beginner copic class soon too, so stay tuned to even more samples :-)

This first card is a Valentines / Anything time you just want to say LOVE U card. And the best part, It's a shaker card. All the little hearts inside are confetti pieces. So CUTE!! I used Hero Art clings for the flowers and Lawn Fawn for the letters.

The second card I wanted to make more vintage looking. So I used Hero Arts Old Letter Writting for the background with distress inks. The lovely typewritter is Lawn Fawn's Just My Type. I added a few flowers and my card came to life. I have to say I'm not a real vintage kinda person but I like simple touches of it.

That's all I have for now, I'll post card #3 tomorrow.

Christmas Explosion Box

Hi Everyone,

Well because of the Holidays, I've had a card class almost every 2-3 weeks instead of once a month lol. So I wanted to step outside the "BOX" for my next class and make Explosion boxes. These are so fun to make and much easier to make then they look. You can easily go crazy with all the decorating though. Here is the sample I made for my class. I used Christmas photos from 2009 of my family as an example of what a finished product can look like. The paper is Echo Park "Season's" paper packet which also comes with 2 pages of stickers and tags etc.

Here is the Box when it is closed
Here is the top of the box. I went to the Dollar Tree and bought the leaves and holly for an added touch.
Here is the box open! Can you see my 3D tree in the middle.
Aren't my kids the cutest? They were 2 1/2 and 5 in these pictures
In this angle you can see the snowmen I paper pieced with Lawn Fawn stamps.
Here is the bottom layer of the three layers. I added a place for a tag or you can add a gift card here if you were making it as a gift for someone. I didnt embellish the backsides but you can also add paper to the back and add even MORE photos.
This I think is my favorite picture of the whole thing. I think you can really see how it EXPLODES!

Hope you liked it! If you are interested in taking my class, I will be teaching this at Stamp Fever in Orange on Saturday, December 3rd at 1-3pm and on Thursday, December 8th at 6-8pm. Contact me at Gina@Stuckongluecrafts.com or call Linda at the store directly at (714) 974-9552.

Happy Stamping,
Gina

Cards for Stamp Fever Class Oct 29th and Nov. 1st

Hi everyone,

Here are the cards I'll be making for my next card class at Stamp Fever on Saturday, October 29th and Tuesday, November 1st.

The first card we'll be creating a layered base and this adorable Turkey! Gooble Gooble!! Isn't he a cutie.

The second card is a slightly changed version of the card I made for Lily Pad. Here we use heat embossing on transparency. The picture doesn't do the ornament justice. It's embossed on both sides adding texture and sparkle!
The third card is the one that I made for my Lily Pad designer spot. When I had the idea in my head I knew it would be making this with my class as well. The window is super fun and easy. And this Penny Black set is too cute.

Second Card Class at Stamp Fever

Happy Monday Everyone!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, I know I sure did.

Since I teach at Stamp Fever every 4th Saturday, my second card class ended up falling on my 6th wedding anniversary. Since I had a good turn out on my first class (10 ladies) my Husband suggested I still teach on Saturday and that we would take an early vacation for our anniversary.  Isn't he the BEST!!!!! So we headed to Palm Springs on Wednesday and were back Friday night just in time for me to get ready for my Saturday class. I had prepared my kits before we left so all I had to do was pack up my supplies.

I had 10 lovely ladies join me for my second class on Saturday. Most of which I hadn't met yet. We started at 10am and just like my first class, four hours later we finished at 2:15! If this continues, we might need to start telling people to pack a lunch :-) I did however bring a few snacks for people to munch on.

I have another class tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept 27th with another 6 ladies that couldn't make it to Saturday's class and asked if I could do another class with the same cards during the week. Exciting right!

Here are some pictures from my Saturday class thanks to my 7 yr old Daughter Jordan who grabbed my phone and decided to take pictures of everyone :-)

Here is a pic of Tables 1 & 2 working on their Thanksgiving Cards
Here is Table 3 working on their Halloween Cards. I had 2 little mini crafters join me. Kayli and Piper are 11 years old and had a blast too. Look at all those Lawn Fawn stamps in the background :-)
Her is Piper and Kayli with their completed cards. They did such a great job.
Here are more happy crafters showing off their cards for my daughter :-)
I love how they colored their houses the colors they liked best.

This is Piper's Thanksgiving card. I love how she added her own touch to the background.
11 year olds are sure creative.
 Here's Kayli crafting away
We even got Linda in on the FUN!!! Here is Linda making a Thanksgiving card.
Happy Stamping,
Gina
