My Daughter's Easter Card (she made)

So I told my little princess Jordan who is 7 that I would post her card on my blog because I was so proud of her and her coloring on this card. While I worked away at my wedding invitations, she took out my Spectrum Noir marker and made this adorable card using "The Stamps of Life" stamp set called "Bunny4Easter".
I just love how she added the yellow dots on the belly and highlights in the ears. And her coloring of the bunny is streak free!!! Way to go baby girl. Mommy is very proud!

My Copic Storage

So I bought the new Copic bag when it came out but I have to say I wasn't as pleased with the little mesh bucket things that were in it. My makers just kept falling over. So after much search online I got inspiration to make this.

Now my copics are in order based on color family and if I buy more I can just adjust the color family order and not the entire bag :-) Isn't it pretty Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh HAHA

Penny Black "True Love Card"

I bought this penny Black stamp set "Tom and Tily" a month or so ago and never got around to coloring it. So when I got to leave early last week from work I went home and layed in bed and colored it. I made it to represent my husband and I when we are older. It is colored with copics and if I can find the paper I wrote the colors down on I will update this post with all the colors. I created the Sentiment using Lawn Fawn alphabet stamps "Sally's ABC's"

I've been REALLY busy in invitation land :-)

A co-worker and friend of mine Kali, referred me to her friend who was looking for wedding invite "improvements" she purchased a very simple but beautiful wedding invite online and wanted it sprused up a little bit. This is where I came in. Once the invitations arrived and were dropped off to me I had only 1 week to beautify 150-200 wedding invites as well as make the reception cards. This is a challange I took on. Christina the bride to be gave me direction, a color palette and let me do my thing.

Here is the outside of the card. The only part you can see that I added was the small purple strip going down the middle. That was a result from what we added to the inside. The front needed nothing from me to make it beautiful since it already was.

Here is the inside of the card opened up. I added the purple panels on each side and added the photo corners to make your attention focus on the details. I love the way it turned out and it really did just give it that simple addition of color.

Here is the matching reception card I made to go inside. It too matches the theme. I added a digital rose from SU and changed the color to light blue and added that to the background like a watermark to tie in the rose from the front of the invite.

This picture represents the mess you can make when you are building 200 invitations :-)

And here are the what felt like millions of photo corners that I hand glued on each invitation.

Hope you like them. The Bride and Groom were pleased which means I did my job :-)

Cards from my last coloring class

Here are the cards we made at my last group of coloring classes.

The first card I made using Lawn Fawn's Judy Blooms Stamp set, and the sentiment is from their Crusing Through Life set. To make this card I first stamped the middle image. Once on the card stock I was going to color on and once on a spare piece of paper to cut out and use as a mask. Then I put the mask over the center flower and stamped the side flowers. The stamp itself has some swirls on it which I didn't want to I wiped those off with a wipey before stamping the images. Then I removed the mask and colored my images. I used the new Spectrum Noir markers in the Pinks. I then cut out the entire image and matted it on a piece of black cardstock then Kraft cardstock and stamped the sentiment.

The second card I made using the new and just adorable Penny Black stamp set called Big Wish. I colored her in again with the Spectrum Noir markers then cut out the image with a Nestabilities die. Isn't she is the cutest little thing.
