Baby Shower Robot Card

Hi everyone,

If you're a fan of Lilypad, which I am, then a few months back you saw the video of how to create a Robot using Lawn Fawn's Bake me a Cake stamp set! I loved Vicky's creativity and thought if I ever needed a Robot I'd try it. Well guess what? I needed a Robot. I was requested by a client to make a baby shower card for her friend. The colors were Blue and Brown and the theme was Robots. I had a lot of fun making this card and I'm very happy with the way it turned out. Take a look!

Here is the front of the card. All the papers are from the DCWV Linen Stack. The image is made with Lawn Fawn's "Bake me a Cake" set, the banner is made with "Bannerific", the sentiment is from "Sophie's Sentiments". The distress inks are Weathered Wood and Vintage Photo.
Here is a side angle to show that the image is popped up. You can also get a peek at the inside.
And here is the inside. Again I used the same papers as the front but here I used Lawn Fawn's "Plus One" set for the sentiment and added a bow.
Here is the link to the video if you too want to try out this fun Robot idea!

  2. If I were given this card at my baby shower it would promptly be front and center in the baby's scrapbook! What an amazing idea, and amazing card! I just love the addition of the banner too.
