Critters in the Forest- Hello FOXY!!

Here is my final finished card from the weekend and my FAVORITE! I made this card for my sister in law 'just cause'. She stopped by my house to pick up the Dora invites I made and saw this stamp set sitting out. Of course she loved all the images so after she left I set out to make her a card with ALL the images from the "Critters in the forest" Lawn Fawn stamp set, all colored with Copics. Here is what I came up with. The clouds are from the "Bon Voyage" stamp set and the grass is cut using the Martha Stewart border punch.
Here is a close up of the colored images on the front. "Day time" I used a cup to cut out a corner of paper for the sun. The rays, I just free handed them but cutting triangles.
I had to make the inside just as cute. I made it "Night time" in the inside. I used white ink and a sponge to fill in the clouds. I also used the same light blue paper in the inside but inked it with a darker blue ink for a night sky.

Here is the card and the matching envelope. I love my Martha Stewart scor board.

Crusing through Life

Another card I made using my new Lawn Fawn stamps. This set is called "Cruising through life" and is one of their Summer releases! I again used copics to color the image. Of couse I added a little bling :-)

Lunar Lights

I had fun going through all my new Lawn Fawn stamps and breaking out the copics for some much needed coloring this weekend. I made this simple card using Lawn Fawn "Lunar Lights" stamp set, copics and some glossy accents! The paper is DCWV Mango Frost.

Bday card for my Hubby!

I'm not sure if it's just me or all card makers but it's more difficult to make cards for my husband then anyone else. The reason being is that he sees ALL my work, he knows what I can do and giving him something simple to me just isn't "FAIR" lol I always want to make his cards a little bit extra special. So on May 17th he turned 31. I racked my brain for days on what to make him. Then I came up with this card. It is still somewhat a simple card but I added a few touches to make it special. I used Lawn Fawn bake me a cake stamp set for this one and the Celebrations paper stack which is adorable!!! So step one, I paper pieced the whole cake. Step two was making 2 layers have a 3 and a 1 for 31 :-) and the final step and you really have to look for it is there are...... 31 candles!! Of course he counted cause he didn't believe me lol

Here is a close up of the cake.

Thank-Whooooooo

I felt like being crafty this past weekend and made this card for a friend of mine whooooo loves Owls. I just bought these adorable Lawn Fawn stamp set called Critters in the Forest and Bon Voyage. I haven't colored with my copics in a while either so it was fun to make this card. The paper is an ECCO stack.

The owl and log are from the Critters in the Forest set. The clouds are from Bon Voyage. I colored the owl and log as separate images using copics and cut each one out individually. The grass I created with the Martha Stewart grass border punch. I layed the bottom layer, glued the log on top, then layered the 2nd layer of grass. The owl I layed with a pop dot. The sentiment is also from the Critters in the Forest stamp set. I used natural twine to tie it all together for that natural foresty look :-)

Because the front was so cute, I had to make the inside just as cute :-) I used the same 2 sets to design the inside. Hope you like it.

Dora the Explorer 2nd B-day invite!

I made this adorable invitation for my niece's 2nd Birthday. I got the image online in a coloring book website, The background is embossed with the swirls cuttlebug folder. The you're invited I printed with my computer on colored cardstock, stamped the banner with Lawn Fawn "Bannerific" stamp set and cut it out. (luckily I only made 20 invites) I used the SU Ticket punch for the Dora picture corners as well as the inside.
Here is the inside of the invite. I always forget to make one without the "personal" information but I remembered this time. I wanted to keep going with the Dora theme so why not make it sound like Dora is the one inviting you.
I took another picture on the left side in the inside that had the childs clothes and shoe size. This is what it looks like open.

Card made using Cricut Imagine & Lawn Fawn Stamps

I made this card using my Cricut Imagine Lori's Garden and the Fly Free stamp set from Lawn Fawn. The background paper is printed from the imagine Lori's garden cartridge as is the flowers and the paper the birds are stamped on. I stamped the birds on an extra flower I cut so they matched. The stamps are from the Lawn Fawn set "Fly Free"

USC Inspired Graduation Card

I made this graduation card using an image I found online, cut it out twice and layered it. The background I made using the information that was given to me. The person’s name, date and what she was graduating with and from there. I was inspired by all the Hero Arts background stamps I've seen that look like definitions. The scalop and circle I cut using my cuttlebug and nestabilities. I also embossed the circle with the swiss dot embossing folder.  Hope you like it.

Here is a quick Mother's day card I made using... Lawn Famn Bake me a Cake stamp set and Lawn Famn Bannerific Stamp set. These stamps have stayed out on my table and I love them so I keep using them! I paper pieced the cupcakes for some added flair. The Sentiment is from Close to my heart. I'll have to check on the stamp name for you.
